On the village’s most beautiful location, directly bordering the Terhernster Poelen and in direct connection with the Sneekermeer, you will find Water Park Terherne. 

From this unique location we (Frans and Mirjam Willemsen) rent out boats, mooring spots and luxurious water villas, since 2010.

Our fleet consists of UFO open sailing boats which are ideal for small and large groups. The UFO was developed especially for sailing on the Frisian waterways and it is a spacious and stable sailing boat that, with a view of renting it out, is easy to operate.The boat is equipped with so-called modern tower rigging, so that it is no longer necessary to hoist a heavy gaff. Recently we extended our fleet with “optimists”, “lasers” and larger sailing yachts.


Next to the sailing yachts we have robust, stable sloops available, equipped with a Diesel engine, so that the Sneekermeer won’t give you any problems, even when a strong wind may unexpectedly show up. The choice is yours.

Our luxurious and fully equipped water villas are on the water and have their own mooring place.
